Krav Maga Level 2 & 3 Class

Level 2 classes focus on the individual’s combative skill level, including leg and hand defenses and strikes. Students will become proficient in performing a series of attacks in all directions, and familiarity with application of pre-fight, fight, and post-fight concepts.

Progression of Techniques With Krav Maga:

Level 2 or 3 marks the stage of our curriculum, focusing on refining basic strikes such as hook punches, uppercut punches, sidekicks, and back kicks. Additionally, you'll learn how to handle more common attacks, such as bearhugs, effectively. Emphasizing continuing Krav Maga principles, you'll apply previously learned techniques in new contexts, enhancing your proficiency and adaptability.

Combatives and Combinations:

Having mastered basic combatives, you'll now explore advanced combinations designed to develop your ability to deliver multiple attacks from various angles and heights. While the curriculum includes a few basic combinations, you'll be encouraged to develop your own as you gain confidence in your skills. Techniques focus on practical applications in real fights, ensuring effectiveness in dynamic situations.

Krav Maga's Approach to Ground Fighting:

While ground fighting skills are taught, the primary objective remains consistent: to get up as quickly as possible. Ground fighting exposes you to increased vulnerability, emphasizing the urgency of regaining a standing position to mitigate further threats.

Ground Fighting and Falls:

Expanding on Level 1's groundwork, Level 2 introduces basic grappling skills applied in self-defense situations. You'll learn how to navigate ground fights with explosive responses to immediate threats, prioritizing getting back on your feet as quickly as possible. Techniques are designed to address strong attacks while recognizing the vulnerability of ground positions.
